Aug 05, 2005· you can use a factory system, the problem though becomes one of access to the fuel pump. i replaced the fuel pump on a 70 falcon with the stock V belts, and power steering, and i can tell you it was a major headache to replace as the access was poor. with a serpentine belt the access would be even worse. best to use an electric pump if you want to convert to a serpentine belt system.
